Delete Your Account
You can delete your Airside account and everything stored with it at any time. There are two ways to do it, and both remove the same data.
1. In the app
Open Settings → Advanced → Danger zone → Delete account…, then confirm. The deletion runs immediately; you do not have to wait for us to process a request.
You do not need to install anything to use this route. Airside runs in any modern browser, so you can open pwa.airsideapp.com/settings/advanced, sign in with the same Google or Apple account, and delete from there — including if you have already uninstalled the mobile app.
For your security, we ask you to sign in again if your session is more than a few minutes old before the deletion goes through.
2. By email
If you cannot sign in — for example, you have lost access to the Google or Apple account you signed up with — email support@airsideapp.com from the address associated with your account and tell us you want your account deleted. We will honor the request within 48 hours of receipt.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account removes, permanently and immediately:
- Your sign-in identity — the account record itself, along with the link to your Google or Apple sign-in.
- Your saved flights and travel history, including flights shared with you by other people and any flights of yours that other people are following.
- Your synced settings — preferences, delay-alert thresholds, and anything else stored with your account rather than on one device.
- Your registered notification devices, so no further push notifications can be delivered to any of them.
- Your Google Calendar sync grant, which is revoked at Google rather than merely forgotten by us.
This cannot be undone. If you sign in again afterwards you will get a new, empty account.
What does not get deleted
An active subscription is not cancelled by deleting your account. Subscriptions are held by the app store you bought them from, and only that store can cancel one:
- Google Play — play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions
- Apple — apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions
Cancel your subscription there before deleting your account, or you will continue to be billed for an account that no longer exists.
Aggregated, anonymized usage metrics that are not tied to your identity are retained, as described in our Privacy Policy.
